The educational sector in Barelias * 1:

The educational sector in Barelias was advanced by a number of official and private schools which were joined by students from Barelias and from neighboring villages consisting of about 5000 students at various stages with reference to hundreds of sons of the town pursuing their studies at universities in Lebanon and abroad and increases the number of graduates to 600 , in addition to 700 students at the secondary level.

Special education in the town in turn is sophisticated and successful as the prominent high schools and the private schools as follows:

-- Al Amin Mixed Secondary School and includes stages of secondary education , intermediate and primary.

-- National Brotherhood School for the elementary and intermediate stages: (founder Late SheikhYoussef Houchaimi)
